Founded in 2013, Mammal Studios was created in response to the quickly changing landscape of visual effects while maintaining a local presence. With a compact and powerful team, Mammal Studios set out to create visual effects on a scale that was previously out of reach for a boutique facility, utilizing a modern pipeline that can quickly adapt to changing project needs.

GREGORY OEHLER
VISUAL EFFECTS SUPERVISOR
Gregory Oehler is a Visual Effects Supervisor and 28-year veteran of the industry with over 90 feature film, television and special venue projects under his belt. A Flame artist since 1997, Greg has designed and executed custom effects for an array of films, ranging from Oceans Twelve to Watchmen, Contact to Titanic, The Illusionist to The Bourne Ultimatum, and Fantastic Four to G.I. Joe. Along the way, Greg has had the privilege to work hand in hand with some of the industries top directors, producers and visual effects supervisors. Greg’s recent supervisor contributions include The Green Hornet, Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, The Odd Life Of Timothy Green, Men In Black 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man.
GREGORY LIEGEY
VISUAL EFFECTS SUPERVISOR
Beginning his career as a composite artist specializing in look development and shot design, Greg worked for some of the visual effects industry’s top houses (ILM, Sony Imageworks and Cinesite among them). Graduating to the position of Visual Effects Supervisor in 2004, he has served in that capacity on over twenty films during the past decade. In that time, Greg presided over the production of, quite literally, thousands of shots. Flightplan, Evan Almighty, Inglourious Basterds, Tower Heist, and Fury represent just some of his credits. Overseeing work both on set and off, his range of experience covers everything from miniatures to full CG environments. Greg has had the opportunity to work with many top directors, producers, vfx supervisors, as well as some of the industry’s leading technicians - each experience helping to fine-tune the balance between art and technology, essential to the creation of high-end visual effects.
MICHELE VALLILLO
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
With over 25 years' experience on over 50 feature films, Michele began her career as an intern with New York Women in Film and Television. Shortly after arriving in Los Angeles, she joined Cinesite Hollywood during its inception and soon relocated to London to launch its sister office in Soho. Returning to LA, she continued to produce for various studios including Universal Pictures, Rhythm & Hues, CIS Hollywood, Method Studios, and Pacific Title & Art. Michele's credits include Army of the Dead, Black Widow, Bird Box, and Scooby Doo, and was nominated for a VES award for Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects in a Feature Motion Picture for her work on Argo.
